A Visit

Today I took advantage of the fact that all my classes were canceled to go have lunch with on of the most devoted readers of this blog... (yes, Shirin you have some competition) my grandmother! After lunch we went for a walk along the Potomac river near Mt Vernon (George Washington's house) and the leaves were unbelievable! I've never seen them so bright.

The only other noteworthy thing (at least of the noteworthy things I would put on a blog) to have happened recently is that I got my hair cut - a lot. So I've included a picture of that too.

Great seeing you Grandma! And see you again soon.

Hi Saskia!
Great blog and I like the new haircut. Nell really enjoyed your visit with her. The trees were beautiful, but alas, the heavy winds yesterday and today have blown most of the leaves off.

I saw that the leaves are almost all gone today... I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and I look forward to seeing you soon!

Your Grandma is beautiful.
I think you should change the name of your blog to "Saskia in The District."
Happy late T-giving/ Recognition of The white man's massacre of Native Americans.
What are you doing for New Year's Eve?
cough - Charleston - cough?

Thanks! I think my Grandma's beautiful as well.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! What Indians? ;-)

I'll be traveling with my Mom for New Years but I'll be in Charleston from the 2nd to the 5th. Will you?
