Tiffany, Sohail, and Alex at our first stop.
The view from the first place. In the background were mountains but they didn't come out in this picture.
Sohail and Alex
Saturday Sohail and I went with a high school friend of his and his wife to visit some of the vineyards in Virginia not too far from DC. This weekend the leaves were far more colorful than last and there was a slight fog that hung over the landscape so the drive was beautiful. The wine ranged from very good to horrible! What was nicest was seeing all the old farm houses that had been converted into wine tasting areas. It was a blast and way better than studying for evidence which has taken up the rest of my waking hours...

It lightens my heart to see that you feel comfortable doing something other than studying 2 weekends in a row this close to exams! I hope I will feel that confident one day. And what a delightful way to spend a day... oh the memories...
I want to do something like that! I'm in electives and I'm still not having as much fun as you are!
Oh well, Christmas break will have to be packed with fun-filled activities to make up for it.

Sarita! Keep your head up. First year is the worst. Third is a joke (by law school standards - still hard but you can take a day off to drink wine).
Shirin - I have no idea what vet school's like but maybe by your third year you'll get as jaded and cynical as 3rd year law students and just start blowing off studying... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
