Last weekend, Sohail and I met my Maman in New York to see "The One," a show choreographed by my Maman's goddaughter and a friend of mine since we were born. The show was amazing and we had a great time catching up with Sara and Davyde and visiting NY.

| My Maman and Sohail chatting in the amazing apartment we rented from a French guy. The French connection always works magic! |

| On Saturday morning, we went to the Brooklyn Flea [market] where we saw this film being made and got some great food and cool artwork. |
 |
| That afternoon we went to the Guggenheim. |
 |
| And saw this cool exhibit. The artist had been given $100,000 for his work and he decided to cash in the money in one dollar bills and hang them up all around a huge room. |

| On Saturday night, we went to see "The One." She's been working on this project for two years, and I hope has gotten some rest since the show. It was an incredible performance and landed her a review in the NY Times. |

| On Sunday morning, we had brunch with Sohail and Sara's cousin Tala, her husband, Tim, and their cute little baby, Julien. |

New York is so awesome and ya'll got to lots of stuff. Were there seriously 10,000 different dollar bills hung up?

Yep. It was a lot of bills!
I found 35 cents between the cushions and glued it to the wall but it doesn't have the same effect as the exhibition at the Guggenheim.
De bons souvenirs! Comme toujours tes photos sont tres reussies!
