This is actually a photo I found on the internet but it was about the same yesterday. It was great being back on the water although I realized that there are so many more tasks per person on a dinghy (small boat) than on the big boats I'm used to racing. That made it much more fun for me and probably more scary for the boat's owner when I forgot stuff!

"Dinghy" refers to a small boat and in this sense I'm referring to the small sailboats we were sailing.
The owner was a guy named Steve. I met him there and he was actually very laid back and didn't seem to mind my mistakes until I was sailing directly towards another boat... But we were far from hitting so it was fine.
Oh, I forgot to ask you how sailing went! Do you still think you could take us out by ourselves?
Sarah, yes, we can go out by ourselves. Do you know how to swim? ;-)
