Twenty-four is the number of days left until graduation! I really couldn't be happier not to be a student anymore. But I am savoring the last round of exams. As counterintuitive as that may sound, I only have two so I get to study interesting things every day and still have time for runs, seeing friends, playing soccer and enjoying the spring weather - oh and sleeping in!
And as long as I'm counting down... there are fewer than 24 days until Derek comes home! And that's much bigger news. I can't wait to hear his voice and maybe even see him with my own eyes.
Good luck to everyone else taking exams or with big projects coming together this month (Anahita, that's you)!

I understand how exam time can be strangely relaxing...but not! School is a mixture of ALWAYS being busy and having free time and fewer responsibilities than everyone else. I should knwo, since I've only spent one year out of school since I started kindergarten in 1985. Wow...I didn't realize that until I just wrote it!

And...I'm so glad to hear Derek is coming home. He'll be relocating to DC, right?

Shirin,
Yes, Derek is planning on moving to DC in October or November when he gets out of the army. I can't wait!
And you are the exam / school queen. With your vet school schedule, I bet you will have taken more exams than all of our group of friends combined!
