Nicole, Flo, Jason and I were all in the same 1st year class and Jason went to Clemson (but we forgive him).
Wow! So many birthdays in October (7 in the next two weeks!) but today was the kick off with Shirin, Anahita and Lauren. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the three of you! These are some pictures of Lauren's party at Karma, a bar very near the law school that's mostly frequented by World Bankers and law students. Lauren had such a beautiful spread of middle eastern food and drinks and lots of great people. It was a blast and very refreshing to socialize a bit in the middle of the week.

Man! Lucky Lauren! I wish I had a beautiful spread of Middle Eastern food for my b-day! I stared at computer slides of hemmoraging intestines and pus-filled thoraces. I'm not kidding!
Maybe one day when I'm a filthy rich veterinarian (yeah right), I'll gorge myself on delicious foods any time I want!

Oh, I forgot to mention that the woman who owns the place is Persian so it was Persian food. If you ever want to come to DC for your b-day we can have a repeat of last night for you!
